Saint Agatha
Saint Agatha died a martyr's death around 250 in Catania (Sicily). She rejected the marriage proposal of a Roman governor several times. Out of anger, he then had Agatha's breasts cut off. In this picture Agatha exposes her bloodcovered breasts, which remind of this torture.

Emperor Henry II and Empress Cunigunde of Luxembourg with a model of the church. The inscription remembers the emperor as donor of the monastery ("dotator huius monasterii"). Above them we see a colossal Christopher with the Christ child and, to the right, John the Baptist.
