Under the coronation image, we also see Mary as Virgin of Mercy, sheltering a group of people with her cloak.

Saint Agatha died a martyr's death around 250 in Catania (Sicily). She rejected the marriage proposal of a Roman governor several times. Out of anger, he then had Agatha's breasts cut off. In this picture Agatha exposes her bloodcovered breasts, which remind of this torture.
